Project Engineer

- A 4 year engineering or 3 year technology degree
- 5+ years of experience in automation & machine design
The successful candidate must:
- have a passion and appreciation for electro/mechanical design & build
- be a self starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- be highly organized and detail oriented
- be capable of taking a design form concept to fully functioning machine
- be proficient with Electro/mechanical software packages specifically SolidWorks
- proficient with Microsoft Office software specifically Word & Excel
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- working within a collaborative team environment
- working day to day with the engineering, machine assembly & build teams
- detailed calculations and design as required to build high speed automation equipment
- generating complete drawing packages, BOM’s, ordering commercial components
- continuous quality control and improvement
Machinist / CNC Operator
Compendium Group Inc. is happy to discuss opportunities with any well organized, creative, hands on, team-oriented candidates residing within the Prescott / Brockville area interested in making parts in our CNC machine shop.
Compendium Group Inc. operates a fully integrated CNC machine shop with:
- multiple seats – state of the art Solidworks 3D CAD modelling
- multiple seats – state of the art, automated CAM software
- 4 – 3 axis vertical machining centers
- 1 – 5 axis machining center
- 1 – CNC lathe
- numerous manual machines & tools
Machining in 2023 is highly sophisticated. We require technically competent individual(s) to operate the machines and software required to manufacture custom parts in our machine shop.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- CNC machine tool programming, operation & maintenance
- manual machine tool operation & maintenance
- quality control & parts inspection
- on going and continuous interaction with design and assembly
Assembly Tech

We design & build large, sophisticated, high end robotic work cells & machines from scratch.

- be electro-mechanically inclined, innovative & creative
- proficient with programming software packages specifically PLC’s

- machine building, panel & machine wiring
- mechanical & electrical assembly, testing & commissioning
- PLC / HMI / Robot programming
- commercial component specification
