Compendium Group Inc., with roots established in 1989, is located in Prescott, Ontario, Canada. Compendium Group Inc. designs and builds custom, state of the art, high speed automation, robotic and packaging machines & work cells. Starting from a blank sheet of paper we produce fully functioning systems with 1000’s & 1000’s of parts. Every aspect of every project is done in house, from mechanical & electrical engineering / design, CNC parts machining, mechanical & electrical assembly, electrical panel building, PLC, HMI & robotic programming through to final assembly, testing and commissioning.
Compendium Group Inc. was one of, if not the first, company in Canada to use SolidWorks back in the 1996/1997 era. Since that time, we have designed many 10’s of thousands of parts and assemblies and developed many API’s used every day to automate our machine and work cell design.
Compendium Group Inc. was one of, if not the first, company in Canada to use Allen Bradley’s ControlLogix PLC programming software back in the 1996/1997 era. Since that time, we have integrated hundreds and hundreds of servos, we have generated many 100’s of thousands of lines of PLC code and developed many PLC & HMI add-ons to automate our machine control and operator interface platforms.
Compendium Group Inc. was one of, if not the first, company in Canada to use Kuka’s MxAutomation Robotic programming software in the 2013/2014 era. Since then, we have integrated dozens and dozens of robots, we have generated many 10’s of thousands of lines of PLC/Robotic code and developed many PLC & HMI add-ons to quickly and robustly integrate robotic modules into our work cells.
